Dick Monday was the Director of Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Clown College where he recruited and trained all the clowns for the Greatest Show on Earth. His extensive tv and film credits include Saved by the Bell, The Tonight Show, The David Letterman Show and Woody Allen’s Sweet and Lowdown. As well as having toured the world as a circus clown, Dick is a critically acclaimed theatre director who utilizes his knack for physical comedy and humor to bring a unique voice to the productions he directs. He co-founded the NY Goofs and is Artistic Director of Laughter League.
Dr. Slappy / Tiffany Riley
Tiffany was the first woman clown to be featured in The Big Apple Circus in NYC, and has performed in circuses, festivals and theatres worldwide with partner Dick Monday. She co-founded The Foundation for Laughter and leads the Laughter League Medical Clown Program. She holds a BFA in Acting from New York University, and recently completed her Master’s Degree in Liberal Studies at Southern Methodist University in Dallas. In 2019, she will be publishing her first book, Beyond the Red Nose.

Brian is a multi-skilled award-winning entertainer who is honored to share special moments with amazing people at Boston Children's Hospital. At Fenway Park just look up and you'll see Big League Brian, iconic stilt-entertainer for the Boston Red Sox. He also earns good grades at schools where he creates and hosts educational programs. You might see him on TV, in commercials, or in movies. Like music? So does he – writing, recording albums, and playing tunes. Jeff Smithson fosters the power of play in a wide variety of settings: from hospital rooms to classrooms; from board rooms to halfway houses. Through his consulting company, Proponent of Play, Jeff teaches Medical Professionals, Teachers, Parents and Parolees about Mindfulness and Movement. He is a founding member of both the NY Goofs and The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp’s Hospital Outreach Program. He is a graduate of Bates College, Ringling Clown College, and Dell’Arte International School of Physical Theatre.

Shawn Patrello has been performing and teaching improvisational comedy for almost 30 years, starting with Comedy Sportz/Ad-Libs, and then creating and directing his own improv comedy troupe, Rubber Chicken. He currently performs with Kidprov in area schools, and Fish Sticks, a Christian based comedy troupe in Dallas, TX. Shawn (Dr. Scribbles) has been a professional therapeutic clown since 2006, first with Funnyatrics and now with Laughter League in area pediatric hospitals. Shawn is also a character actor in the Dallas area, as well as a cartoonist and a ventriloquist.

Marcie was the first woman to write Marcie's bio. Marcie has always been silly, loud and the "class clown". Marcie is also an actress who has worked in film and television, but the Medical Clowning opportunity has been the one that she has really connected with. She was a founding member of Funnyatrics at Children’s and after a hiatus to bring to lovely children into the world, she returned to clowning with the Laughter League at Cook Children’s Medical Center in Ft. Worth as a founding member of the Laughter League.

Eric Binkowski has been a street performer and professional magician for the past twenty years. He started the first comedy magic shows at the Improv comedy theaters and is partners with a one of the best fortune telling performers and paranormal entertainment company in North Texas. Introduced to the world of therapeutic clowning by the Goofs in 2005 and taught the intricate world of hospital clowning through Funnyatrics, the first professional therapeutic clown program in Dallas and continues on with the work with Laughter League continuing learning and growing through this fascinating world.

A graduate of Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Clown College, Grainger clowned with The Greatest Show on Earth, and has been featured in tv, film, and circuses worldwide, notably as Stan Laurel at Universal Studios Hollywood and in Universal’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Grainger managed the Salado Silver Spur Theater and the Silver Spur Arts Academy and was on the volunteer Fire Department. He loves working with the Laughter League at Cook Children’s Medical Center in his hometown, Fort Worth.

Julio Ramazini is from Sao Paulo, Brazil. He attended circus school in Rio De Janiero for 4 years where he was scouted by a Ringling Bros affiliate who offered him a contract on the spot. Julio is an accomplished circus juggler and all-around great circus performer who partners in performance with his wife Kelli Ramazini. When not performing, Julio is a circus coach in Dallas and clowns with The Laughter League in a variety of venues.

Jenny the Juggler has been Boston's Best ("and Only") female professional juggler for over twenty years, creating fabulous unforgettable experiences through juggling, magic, music, face painting, balloons, "child whispering" and witty repartee. Becoming a hospital clown has been a welcome challenge and great honor for Jenny. Born in Oakland, California and raised on both coasts of the U.S., she now lives in Cambridge MA with her family of humans and furry four legged friends.
