Meet the League at Cook Children’s Health Care System
The Laughter League team at Cook Children’s Health Care System is comprised of a veteran variety of artists with a wealth of performance backgrounds, including circus arts, theater, improvisation, magic, and music. Each team member brings their unique skills, experience, and sensitivity to the work of hospital clowning, allowing them to make meaningful, spontaneous connections that relieve stress, bring joy, and contribute to the overall care of patients and families.
All performers are trained in hospital protocol, including hygiene, confidentiality, sensitivity, and child development.

Dr. Doodle
Member Since ‘20
When asked what she wanted to be when she grew up, Kelli (Dr. Doodle) would always say "I want to make people happy". Working with the Laughter League, that dream has been fulfilled! After traveling the country by train with Ringling Bros. & Barnum and Bailey, Kelli settled down in Dallas, TX and has been teaching circus arts for 7 years now. She is one half of "The Ramazini's", her partner Julio is also on the LL team. They have been performing together for over 10 years, doing shows, festivals and events.

Dr. Hashtag
Member Since ‘19
Kaylee (Dr. Hashtag) has worked with Laughter League since 2019. Without the nose and white coat, Kaylee can be found singing a ballad somewhere in a local theatre near you. When she’s not clowning, Kaylee is working in youth theatres around DFW, teaching private acting and voice lessons, writing and editing scripts, or petting a cat, somewhere.

Dr. Knock Knock

Eric Binkowski (Dr. Knock Knock) has been a street performer and professional magician for the past twenty years. He started the first comedy magic shows at the Improv comedy theaters and is partners with a one of the best fortune telling performers and paranormal entertainment company in North Texas. Introduced to the world of therapeutic clowning by the Goofs in 2005 and taught the intricate world of hospital clowning through Funnyatrics, the first professional therapeutic clown program in Dallas and continues on with the work with Laughter League continuing learning and growing through this fascinating world.

Dr. Monday
Founder
Dick Monday was the Director of Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Clown College where he recruited and trained all the clowns for the Greatest Show on Earth. His extensive tv and film credits include Saved by the Bell, The Tonight Show, The David Letterman Show and Woody Allen’s Sweet and Lowdown. As well as having toured the world as a circus clown, Dick is a critically acclaimed theatre director who utilizes his knack for physical comedy and humor to bring a unique voice to the productions he directs. He co-founded the NY Goofs and is Artistic Director of Laughter League.

Dr. Oopsie

Caitlyn Polson (Dr. Oopsie) is an actor/singer who graduated from the University of North Texas, where she met the NY Goofs team during a workshop opportunity. Caitlyn has worked as an entertainer doing improv murder mystery shows and worked both on stage and behind the scenes at Water Tower Theater in Addison. She looks forward to bringing her love of anime and unique look on childhood as Dr. Oopsie to bring joy and laughter to all she encounters.

Dr. Pantalones

Julio Ramazini (Dr. Pantalones) is from Sao Paulo, Brazil. He attended circus school in Rio De Janiero for 4 years where he was scouted by a Ringling Bros affiliate who offered him a contract on the spot. Julio is an accomplished circus juggler and all-around great circus performer who partners in performance with his wife Kelli Ramazini. When not performing, Julio is a circus coach in Dallas.

Dr. Papo

Tomas Moquete (Dr. Papo) is an actor, puppeteer and entertainer, who has performed all over DFW. Tomas Tomas comes from a musical theater and acting background past shows include: Usnavi De La Vega at Firehouse Theater, Jurassic World The Exhibition, Shrek: The Musical at the Plaza Theatre, West Side Story, Rocky Horror Picture Show & 9 to 5 at NTPA, Best little Whore House in Texas at GLCT, All My Sons, The Elephant Man, Beauty And The Beauty Beast, The Little Mermaid with Geppetto’s Puppet Theater and so many more.

Dr. Quack

Grainger Esch (Dr. Quack), of Fort Worth, Texas, began his career with Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey. As a clown/variety artist, he has worked throughout the USA and abroad, and for ten years, managed a theatre company in Salado, Texas. He loves his work with Laughter League at Cook Children's. He is active in Fort Worth’s theatre community, and, along with his dog Pancho, enjoys building musical instruments out of repurposed materials.

Dr. Slappy
Founder
Tiffany Riley (Dr. Slappy) was the first woman clown to be featured in The Big Apple Circus in NYC, and has performed in circuses, festivals and theatres worldwide with partner Dick Monday. She co-founded The Foundation for Laughter and is the Executive Director of Laughter League. She holds a BFA in Acting from New York University, and a Master’s Degree in Liberal Studies at Southern Methodist University in Dallas. In 2019, she published her first book, Beyond the Red Nose.

Dr. Taps

Isaiah Christopher-Lord Harris (Dr. Taps) is an actor, educator, and choreographer. He is a New Orleans Native, but has been performing and teaching in Dallas for the past seven years. Isaiah recently graduated from The International College Of Musical London. He is looking forward to his clowning journey with Laughter League and sharing joy with his fellow clowns.

Dr. Saratonin
Sara Jackson (Dr. Saratonin) was born to be a Muppet but is simply a man. A multi-hyphenate creative who strives to make the world a sillier, more empathetic place, they've been performing in some capacity for 20 years. Notably, they have a degree in Comedy Writing and Performance and studied at The Second City in Chicago. When not donning the red nose, you can see Sara performing, writing and teaching comedy throughout DFW, or talking your ear off about the Disney theme parks.

Dr. Poutine
Alice Nelson (Dr. Poutine) is a theatre maker, educator, clown, and puppeteer who delights in crafting theatre that tickles the brain and the heart. A dual citizen of Canada and the U.S., she’s toured original solo shows across the Fringe Festival circuit, co-created feminist theatre, and led countless workshops that blend laughter with learning. Alice has worked everywhere from classrooms to open fields—creating plays with kids and spreading joy with Clowns Without Borders. She holds an MFA from Dell’Arte International School of Physical Theatre, and currently teaches and leads the Theatre Arts with Teaching Certification program at the University of Texas at Arlington.
